- days kept under ~77°F
- humidity 70%+
- an ultra-highland parent means it still needs cold nights, hybrid or not
A cross of ultra-highland and ultra-highland parents; hybrids usually take conditions between their parents'.

| Night | 40–50°F (4–10°C) |
| Never below | 35°F (2°C) |
| Humidity | 70–95% |
| Light | Bright indirect light; strong airflow |
| Water | Mineral-free only (rain, distilled, RO; TDS under ~100 ppm, ideally much lower); damp, not waterlogged; no tray. |

Tom's: N. villosa (1600-3240 m) 16-27C days / 6-17C nights, kept below ~25C at all times, 70% RH by day and over 90% at night; N. macrophylla 19-24C / 9-14C. NECPS: nights at or below 45F, can dip into the 30s. Growers usually need a cooled chamber. There is no agreed elevation threshold for this group.
Likely best temperatures. Estimated for the cross from its parents' habitats, averaged as if from about 2,100–2,600 m: days 19–25 °C (66–77 °F), nights 9–15 °C (48–59 °F). Wants nights cooler than most homes, every night of the year.
Worked out the way Tom's Carnivores' Nepenthes calculator does it: the average of the parents' ranges, each parent passing on half. An estimate: parentage, clone and how a plant was raised all matter, and plants often grow well outside it.
