Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Collector accounts are free, there are no ads, and we take no cut of any sale.
Do you sell plants?
No. We link you straight to the shop. Buying, payment and shipping are between you and the seller.
How do you know what's in stock?
We read the product listings shops publish on their own sites, on a polite schedule, and say who we are when we do. eBay listings come from eBay's official API.
How is the fair price worked out?
From what the plant actually sold for over the last year, once there are at least three sales; before that, from what shops are asking. It's matched by size where the listing says one, because a 2" plug and a 10" plant are not the same buy. Auction lots are left out.
What counts as a deal?
A listing well under the fair price for the same size. We only call something a deal when we know its size, so a cheap seedling never looks like a bargain mature plant.
Which shops?
Specialist nurseries and small growers across the US, plus carnivorous plants on eBay. See the full list. Know a shop we're missing? Tell us.
How fast are alerts?
Within one check of the shop, which is every few minutes around known drop times and less often otherwise. Alerts go to the ntfy phone app, Discord, Slack or email.
Where do the lowland and highland labels come from?
From the nurseries themselves: we read how each shop describes the plant. The houseplant rating is ours, worked out from the temperatures the plant grows at in the wild.
I run a nursery. Can I see my numbers?
Yes. Nursery accounts are free and invite-only. See for nurseries.
My shop is listed and I'd rather it wasn't, or something's wrong.
Tell us and we'll fix or remove it quickly.
What do you do with my data?
Only what's needed to run your account and alerts. Want lists count toward anonymous demand totals unless you opt out. You can download or delete everything from Settings. See the privacy page.
