About Carnivorous Collections
Carnivorous plants sell in drops: a nursery lists a batch, and the plants people want are gone within the hour. Prices vary wildly by shop and size, and there's no single place to see what's available. Carnivorous Collections fixes that. It watches 18 shops and eBay, puts everything in stock in one search, and tells collectors when the plant they want appears.
What we do
- Read the public product listings shops publish, on a polite schedule, and note what's listed, restocked, sold out or repriced.
- Work out fair prices from what plants actually sold for, matched by size.
- Send alerts to collectors who want a plant, and link them straight to the shop that has it.
- Give nurseries anonymous demand numbers, so they can grow what people are looking for.
What we don't do
- We don't sell plants, handle payment or ship anything.
- We take no commission or affiliate fee from shops, and nobody pays for placement.
- We don't run ads or sell your data.
Shops
If you run a shop we list and want something corrected, or would rather not be listed, tell us and we'll sort it out quickly. Nurseries can also ask for a free nursery account.
